Wow! Where did the time go? I'm finishing up a two month tour with Postmodern Jukebox. Wild! I can't believe the venues that we played at! Radio City, Moody Theater at Austin City Limits, Bushnell Theater, The Wang, The Moda Center, Crest Theatre, the list goes on! Theaters and arenas! We went all over the U.S. and even went to Montreal and Toronto. We had a killer lineup of singers, instrumentalists, and crew. Simply amazing! I have lots of great pictures below, as well as on all of my social media sites. Plenty more pics of which I will continue to add. As I prepare to return home to Brooklyn, I look forward to teaching lessons, playing with The Owlz, live looping, and experiencing the great mystery that is New York City. Remember, you can check out our updated Patreon page for The Owlz, along with albums that I have on itunes, bandcamp, and spotify. Thanks for stopping by.

As you may have heard, I founded "The Owlz" in June of 2015 with my good buddy Anton Vittal on guitar. We've been playing a lot of restaurants and private events as a duo and trio since I've been back in Brooklyn. We've recently hit the studio, working on upcoming videos as well as a new album. Some of our videos even feature special guests! Stay tuned for official releases of videos and songs. And if you are having a party and would like us to play at it, feel free to send a message. We love playing parties! In other news, I will be hitting the road again at the end of September with Postmodern Jukebox. This will be a two month long North American tour.
Hello friends! The tour has been great so far! Looking back- I headed out from Brooklyn to LA in the wee hours of the morning on February 18th for rehearsals. Then our first show of this excursion was in Dubai on February 25th. So I've already been away from home for a month and a half! Where did the time go?!! Every day of the tour has been an adventure in and of itself. Some of the many highlights of the tour so far: A visit to Stonehenge, going to two jam sessions in London (at "Ronnie Scott's" and "Alleycat"), having a nice tour of London during the day by a fan and new friend Gary, watching "Pippen" in Amsterdam, and the Amsterdam experience in general. That was my second time there and was one of my personal favorite shows that I've ever played! Oh, also, my band mates and the audience were soooo cool to celebrate my birthday with me in Groningen. Both onstage and off. Lots more coming up on this tour. And when I get back home I'm having a CD release party for my upcoming solo album. Keep it locked right here.
This past Halloween marked the debut of the new "Ben and Friends" band live at Club Bonafide. We had such a fun night of jazz, funk, livetronica, and OVERALL wild antics! Full band lineup: Eddie "Arjun" Peters- guitar, Yvans Jean-Michel- bass, Chip Thomas- drums, and special guest Steve Sweat on sax. All of the other bands were so badass! What a great party! Full photo album is up on my Facebook page.
Rockin' out a bunch of private parties this weekend. Did you know I play at private events? 👍 Back at Fishtales this coming Wednesday with the Jazz Owls. And don't forget about the Halloween Show at the brand new Club Bonafide. Tix for the event here.

Updated Update: I will be heading to Oz with Postmodern Jukebox starting on August 28th. The land down under! We will also be performing in New Zealand and the Philippines. I just came to the realization that the theater that we will be playing in Manila, the Big Dome, just so happens to be where the great "Thrilla in Manila" happened. The same theater! Thrilla in Manila- one of my favorite moments in sports! Anywho, I'm very excited about the entire trip. I've got lots of shows coming up before then as well. This Friday I'll be playing with PMJ in Boone, NC at the Schaefer Center for the Performing Arts. Then, the very next day I'll be back in New York to play with The Skivvies at Joe's Pub. There are many other shows as well which can found in the calendar. Happy listening everybody!
